About Us

Our vision at Reach Church is simple: we want to reach all people with Nothing but Jesus. Nothing but Jesus is way more than a slogan. In fact, we aren’t into slogans here at Reach Church.  Our passionate belief, and our reason for defining our mission in these three words, Nothing but Jesus, is that the Christian church is in danger of losing the simple message of what it means to become more and more like Jesus.  Churches today tend to focus on everything but Jesus: whether that be politics, or legalism, or moralism, or focussing on a vague idea of God, but not on a deeply personal relationship with Jesus. 

At Reach Church, we spend a lot of time talking about who Jesus was and what that means in our lives practically. We believe that Jesus is not only for those who are searching and considering Christianity, but Jesus is for those who have been Christians for decades. We believe that Jesus did not come primarily to be a good example to us, but to be a substitute for us….to do for us what we could never do for ourselves.  It is only when we are gripped by the reality of what Jesus has done for us that we begin to become more and more like Jesus in our personal and private lives, at work, in our marriages, and in our relationships. 

We can easily forget the main reason for Christianity: and that is the hope that we have in nothing but Jesus. Our vision comes from the Apostle Paul’s words in I Corinthians 2: 2 when he said, "I want to know NOTHING among you but Jesus Christ and him crucified." Every word of the New Testament is about Jesus and Jesus said that the entirety of the Old Testament pointed to him. So we unpack what it means to be a follower of Jesus every Sunday and in all of our ministries and our desire is that this message will Reach all people with Nothing but Jesus. When we are gripped by Jesus, by what he did for us on the cross, by the new life we can have in him, we will be a community of grace, we will be a community of people growing in holiness, and we will be a community of people who serve the community around us.
